My question is simply: Does a listen in itunes count as a download on Archive?

it should count with the same criteria as if it was being streamed or downloaded from archive.org because essentially it is.

iTunes won't even list my carry new episodes of my podcast, even though it used to. I tried re-submitting the show, but got an error message saying "The feed has no episodes" when I've put up at least four episodes since the problem started.

the most recent item is from 8/26/13. you said you put up 4 recently. is august what you mean by recently? what is the links the the 4 recent ones you mentioned?

can you create a search query that will have exactly the results you want for your feed?
